Pocketful Of Possies Crafts LLC, aka POP Crafts, is a proudly family and veteran-owned business that’s aimed at being a spot where artistry and mingling come alive. POP Crafts offer a creative outlet for all and a safe space to let your imagination come to life!
Our Story
Armel and Melanie Possi established POP Crafts in 2021. Armel is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, has a Major in Business Administration, and is a long time entrepreneur. Melanie majored in Early Childhood Education and now enjoys homeschooling their four children. Both Armel and Melanie are very family oriented, and so, when given the unique opportunity to start a business, they knew it would have to include everyone. Now, the Possi family runs the business side by side, with each Possi bringing their own talents and strengths to the mix. Together, they are a Pocketful of Possies!
Born out of their passion for working with their hands, this establishment was put together as a project of love. Armel, a keen designer, and builder, has spent many an hour building seesaws, swing sets, and tree houses for his children. Melanie, on the other hand, a childhood learning enthusiast, loves making learning fun by incorporating crafting. She also enjoys using her crafting talents to gift family and friends with handmade beauties.
Their four children are a combination of both their parents. They all love building, crafting, creating, and learning.
As a family project, Armel, Melanie, and their four kids worked together to build a dream playroom. But in the spring of 2022, as things were coming together, circumstances in their life forced them to place the playroom on hold and eventually sell the playhouses for their kid-size town.
Disappointed as they were, their new journey led them to find new premises at 51 West Market Street. However, the new premises was too small to continue to build their entire dream. This further led the Possi family to agree this would be a great place to focus on the crafting portion of Pocketful of Possies. Thus began the adventures of POP Crafts.
